Author Talk with Michael Fine

Author Talk with Michael Fine In-Person

Join us for an author talk and book reading with Dr. Michael Fine, the former director of the Rhode Island Department of Health.

He will be talking about his latest title Rhode Island Stories.

"Rhode Island. A tiny little state with more stories than people. Hopes and dreams, sicknesses, deaths and disappointments. Loves and heartbreaks. Some of us trying to repair the world. Others overwhelmed by the beauty of the world as it is. All in one place, becoming one people. What democracy looks like." (From the back cover.)

Dr. Fine is the author of Rhode Island Stories (2021), The Bull and Other Stories (November 2020) the IPNE 2021 Literary Fiction Book of the Year, Abundance (2019), and Health Care Revolt (2018).
