Henna Your Heart Out for Teens

Henna Your Heart Out for Teens In-Person

Also known as mehndi, henna art is very popular. A safe, plant based dye originating thousands of years ago in India, the Middle East and Africa, this beautiful body art lasts 1-3 weeks and is thought to bring protection, love and good fortune to those it adorns.

In this hands-on workshop, after a brief introduction into henna's rich cultural history, ancient traditions, and modern use, participants will be adorned by Molly with a high quality, unique, freehand design on their wrists, hands or fingers. They will also try using their own hand-made henna cones on laminated practice sheets.

Henna is always one of our most popular programs so reserve your spot early! And, remember to bring your permission form, signed by a parent or guardian, if you want to be tattooed.
