Gardening Series: Seed Saving In-Person

URI Master Gardner Bill Baddeley will speak about best practices in saving seeds from your garden.

Free and open to the public. Registration requested.

You may find that some of the plants in your garden this fall can provide seeds for you to use next spring.  People have been saving seeds for thousands of years, and we know a lot about how to save pure seeds from one generation to the next.  We’ll talk about the things you need to keep in mind when selecting varieties, planting, pollinating, harvesting, and storing seeds
