Growing Hops and Homebrewing In-Person

Join Sanne Kure-Jensen for a workshop on growing hops and home brewing.  Enthusiasts will hear about cultivating, harvesting and drying hops. There are many uses for hops besides flavoring beer! This workshop will cover required brewing equipment, ingredients, sanitation and tips for success as well as how to bottle and the best way to pour a homebrew.

Free and open to the public. Registration requested.

Sanne Kure-Jensen is a beekeeper, organic grower and horticultural writer living in Portsmouth, RI where she has been brewing beer and mead for over a decade. She manages educational programs and outreach for NOFA/RI and is a regular contributor to “Country Folks Grower.”
