Sound Meditation and Yoga In-Person

Kick off Mental Health Awareness Month by joining Bryan and Kayla in a relaxing evening of sound meditation and yoga at the Newport Public Library.

Kayla is a 2024 graduate of the 200-hour RYT at Providence Power Yoga. She was first  introduced to yoga through middle and high school programs. She began to practice regularly  around 2012 and started teaching at the end of 2024. Kayla's classes focus on creating a  calming space with intentional movement. When not on her mat, Kayla enjoys beekeeping, art,  and her dog Lady Bird. 

Bryan has a Master’s Degree in Percussion Performance from Boston University. He received his  Bachelor’s Degree in Percussion Performance from Rhode Island College. He started playing  piano as early as he can remember. He started studying percussion in 2006. Now, he frequently  performs with different orchestras, musical theater groups and jazz bands throughout New  England.
