Located by the Borrower Services Desk. United Way of Rhode Island is a nonprofit that has two call centers; 211 and the Point. The outreach table will have resources about 211, which is a 24 hour call center where people can ask any question, but our expertise is geared towards social services within each community in Rhode Island such as heating assistance, snap, Healthsource, community action programs, and other programs.

The Point is also a call center for Seniors and Adults with Disabilities.  This call center is more hands on.  Information on this call center will also be distributed. They can help over the phone or in person with any DHS application, assistance with Medicare supplemental plans, and resources for seniors and adults with disabilities such as home care services, daycare, respite, oscil, and other services.  All United Way of Rhode Island services are free and confidential.
