Praise for Hungrytown:

“Hall sings with a lullaby-like gentleness in tones that bring to mind the silvery stylings of Judy Collins mixed with the wispy whimsy of Harriet Wheeler, a natural fit for their music, which blends old-time folk modernized with a flavour of dream pop. Undoubtedly, their music is rooted in folk traditions, these songs actually sounding more like they were parented in the British Isles before being raised in Vermont, drawing the listener in with a wisp of breeze that accesses the ache of life’s fleeting nature while offering a soothing balm for its discomfort. All the while, Hall’s voice drifts through each note like a fading memory.” - Dean Nardi

— Americana-UK

“Recorded in their Vermont 'Song Catcher' home studio and produced by Anderson, the songs on Any Forgotten Thing sound as timeless as any traditional songs from the 1960s folk boom. With Rebecca's crystal clear vocal and Ken's empathetic multi-instrumental accompaniment, the duo embellish their songs with some richly observed arrangements. Added to this are those unmistakable harmony vocals.  With the a cappella song "The Sweetest Flower" closing the album, Any Forgotten Thing comes over as nothing less than a ray of sunshine on a spring day.” - Allan Wilkinson

— Northern Sky

********************************

After meeting in New York City, Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson's musical journey was influenced by a collection of 1960s folk albums from a close friend, leading to Hall's first songwriting efforts. Since 2003, they have been full-time touring musicians, releasing several albums and gaining recognition worldwide. For more information on Hungrytown, visit: https://hungrytown.net/.
