Newport Historic Cemetery Exhibit In-Person
Newport is enhanced by many historic cemeteries. Posters highlighting seven of the sites will be displayed in the Spring Street Lobby of the Newport Public Library. Also on display will be a map of the city showing the location of all historic burial sites. The posters are drafts of what will be interpretive signage that, once installed, will provide information to visitors. The signs were created by the Newport Historic Cemetery Commission and the signs are being funded by Discover Newport.
