Pruning and Cultural Practices: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly with David Schwartz

In this presentation, you will learn about the best and the least productive examples of many aspects of plant management, from proper to improper plant care, starting with planting, and progressing through the various needs of plant material throughout their life cycles. It will cover common mistakes made by both homeowners and professionals. The goal of this presentation is to make the plant enthusiast more aware of the factors that are necessary to make better plant management decisions. Included in this presentation will be insect and disease scenarios with practical solutions and timing recommendations.

Seating is limited and registration is required.

David Schwartz is the owner and operator of Schwartz Tree & Landscape since 1984 and has extensive experience in tree care and pruning. He enjoys sharing his expertise through speaking engagements and through articles he has authored. Dave is a member of the URI Master Gardener class of 1987.
