In this 1-hour presentation, Jan will teach aspiring authors what they need to know about how to get published. This includes developing a concept, writing a manuscript, editing, writing query letters, finding a literary agent, negotiating a publishing agreement, permissions, royalties, subsidiary rights and marketing. She will also talk about using social media to increase your visibility to literary agents, publishers, and readers alike.

Her experience and know-how are in editing, marketing, royalties, art, production, contracts, copyrights, and permissions.
